Worst Mother of the World

Have you ever felt like you deserve the Worst Mother in the World award? I sure did! Many countless times. And I have IMPORTANT persons questioning my ability to mother and nurture my daughter. They have accused me of so many things that have really, really made me cry. But at the end of the day, I realized that if there is one person who can tell me whether I have been a good mom or not, it is MY DAUGHTER. She knows. Yeah, she really, really knows. And I believe her.

Yesterday had been a rotten day. But one thing that really lifted me up is when I was feeding my girl and she super liked the food and commented, "Thanks, Mommy! Ang BAIT-BAIT mo talaga!"

Wow.

An Atenista in the Making

It's been ages since I initially posted here. I have not even announced that I am here! So here it goes: I AM HERE!!
LOL! Anyways, I have finally managed to scrap a page after more than a year! This is a photo taken at the Ateneo de Manila University - where her Dad studied and where she intends to enroll. Yep, she wants to be an Antenista. We already started saving up for that. We have to start early, you know. It is not just any school. It is ATENEO de MANILA! But she needs to learn all those big stuff first. ;) Anyways, this is her (and mine too!) second visit to the Ateneo. We initially visited the school two Christmases ago, when we initially had a vacation in Pampanga. She was asleep when we passed by UP but we woke her up when we were at the Ateneo.

Anyways, I love this photo of hers. She knows how to pose and smile for the camera, thanks to me! LOL! She has been exposed to the cam ever since she was born. I did this for my "My Favorite Photos" album and I hope to add more pages during my break. Yey!

A Mother's Blog

So, what's this blog for? I am intending to use this blog as a journal of my daily experiences as a mother to Kaela Therese. Expect some photos and digital scrapbook layouts too. My little girl will be turning 5 soon and I have been surely enjoying the roller coaster ride called motherhood. So come along and join my ride!
